Every year we survey our exhibitors to gage the over-all satisfaction with the Expo.
Question: Would you recommend participation in the Business Expo to your friends & colleagues? On a scale of 1 to 10, the average rating for 2009 was 8.0.
We had an Expo Wrap Up meeting and invited several Exhibitors to attend to provide additional feed-back and suggestions for improving our 2010 Expo. Results:
- It was decided that since each Chamber already has a Business After Hours, we would eliminate this from the Expo schedule and keep the focus on Expo activities.
- We’ll end the 2010 Expo at 5:30 p.m. This will allow people to visit the Expo at the end of their work day and still have time to walk through the entire show.
- To reduce trick-or-treaters (always a challenge at any expo!), no bags on wheels, backpacks etc. will be allowed into the arena. For visitors without a complimentary ticket or their business card, there will be a $5 fee.
- We will encourage exhibitors to focus their complimentary ticket distribution to the business community.
- We need to highlight and improve the morning exhibitor to exhibitor networking period.
- To encourage new exhibitors, we will offer a special reduced rate for a limited number of exhibitors.
- Keep the Entertainment Stage, but make improvements. We will give better recognition during our fashion shows to the stores and the volunteer models. We’ll also have cooking presentations, focusing on fast and healthy meal preparation and we’ll be looking for other ideas.

7:30 am Wake Up GLBRE Exhibitors! Coffee & Continental Breakfast
8 am – 10:30 a.m. Booth to Booth Connections Expo Exclusively for Exhibitors
11 am Premier Luncheon at Curtiss Hall with featured speaker (optional).
1 pm – 5:30 pm Great Lakes Bay Regional Expo open to the business community.
